We are organizing a week of creating and leading in Kenya! 

 

Picture yourself in Kenya: Your week starts with a safari so you can get to know Africa’s incredible wildlife and natural beauty, followed by a three-day “unconference" at the Amani Institute in Nairobi. The Amani Institute is dedicated to creating a highly skilled workforce to tackle global challenges and helping organizations work more effectively in pursuing social change. You and other THNKers will conduct workshops for local NGOs, businesses and Amani students based on how your expertise or Accelerator project prototype can help with local needs.

 

By participating in the Creative Leaders Bazaar, you will:

 

a) make a social impact by using your skills and expertise to address business and social challenges faced by leading local organizations;

 

b) gain an understanding of the emergence of Nairobi as one of the leading global innovation hubs and the gateway to Africa in what is being called the African Century;

c) build your CV/accelerator and receive opportunities for publicity and professional networking with other global professionals;

d) guide and mentor and, in turn, be inspired by Amani Institute students, who are the next generation of social change leaders (see video with Menno at Amani here); and,

e) have a lot of fun with fellow THNKers!
